External Resources

‘Towards Anti-racist Legal Pedagogy: A Resource’  is now available free to download. It has been designed by Dr Suhraiya Jivraj (Reader in Law & Social Justice) to help law school teachers develop anti-racist curricula and classrooms, particularly embracing and reflecting the diversity of students of colour. More information including how to feed into the resource and join a network of law school teachers to share good practice is available here.

A podcast on Legal Careers and Education: ReImagine Law is a series of open-access podcasts aimed at school-level pupils and above.  The podcasts offer guidance to those yet to consider a legal career or those at decision points in the early stages of their legal career journey.  The series was created as a collaboration between the Department of Law at Queen Mary University of London, MyKindaFuture and Jarred Consulting, and launched in 2020.  Episodes so far have featured guests who have taken different career paths (including solicitors, barristers, apprentices, judges, in-house lawyers or public interest lawyers) and enable listeners to gain career insights and tips from the experiences of these different guests.
