Restitution

The most notable advance within the common law world over the last quarter of a century has been the growing international recognition of the law of Restitution of Unjust Enrichment. The subject relates to all other legal subjects and its recognition and growth have been a remarkable combination of academic exploration and practical development. Members of the Restitution Section have made significant contributions to this, hosting discussions by an international community of academics, practitioners and judges and spearheading publications in the Restitution Law Review and elsewhere which have influenced not only academic thinking but the development of the law in practice.
