Comparative Law

The Comparative Law subject section aims to provide a forum for all researchers interested in comparative legal studies and comparative legal methodology. The range of interests represented by subject section members is broad and includes both theoretical and substantive approaches to the study of comparative law, together with comparative analyses undertaken at national, European and international levels.

Each year it works to provide a stimulating programme of papers, which follow the morning workshop organised at the conference by the British Association of Comparative Law (BACL) for which details may be found at:http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/bacl/.
