‘Shakespeare and the Law’

Featuring performances by Sheila Hancock, Alex Jennings, Juliet Stevenson and Samuel West. The event will explore the universality of human rights and will be of particular interest to the legal community. Through a speech by PBI patron Sir Peter Roth, the event also provides an opportunity to hear about the impact of PBI’s protection work on lawyers who operate under threat and the role the Alliance for Lawyers at Risk plays in offering a collective voice and their legal expertise to these courageous individuals. Through the support of those who attend, we hope to raise funds to enable the Alliance for Lawyers at Risk and PBI to develop capacity building programmes in Kenya and Nepal in support of lawyers and other human rights defenders.
