Gresham College is currently seeking a Professor of Law to replace Professor Sir Geoffrey Nice QC whose term of appointment is nearing its end. The appointment is offered for a period of three years and will commence on 1 August 2016. The first Gresham Professor of Law was appointed in 1597.
All applicants should submit a letter of interest, including a brief curriculum vitae (maximum 10 pages, or the first 10 pages only will be used), and the names and addresses of at least two referees to whom enquiries may be addressed as to their record and standing. A CV only will not be considered. Applicants must also provide an outline of the programme of activity that they would use the appointment to advance, and indicate in detail what their programme would be for the academic year 2016-17 (ie Titles and 200-250 word abstracts of six lectures for the first year, 2016-7, and an outline for the 6 lectures per year for each of the following two years).
