In association with the Welsh Government and the UK Administrative Justice Institute, Bangor Law School is is hosting a conference on the theme of Administrative Justice. This conference will cover issues such as; good first instance decision making by public bodies, and administrative redress mechanisms such as internal complaints and reviews, external complaints to various ombudsmen and commissioners, and appeals to relevant tribunals and courts. The conference will have a Welsh flavor with a core focus on Welsh institutions of administrative justice alongside a range of comparative experiences from across the UK, various European countries and Australia.
